Repentance - Being Truly Sorry

Mustard Stain

The other day I spilled mustard on my dress and hurried to wash it off with bar soap before the stain could set in. It made me think of how, we can go to our Father and ask Him to wash us clean of what we have dome immediately, but if we allow the evil one to keep us from going to Him - it can sometimes leave a stain that the devil will try to bring up time and time again - reminding us over and over of how we missed the mark.
[even] I, [am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. [Isa 43:25 KJV]
Our Father knows we are far from perfect. Even Jesus said, "Why do you call me good? Only God is good!" This is what is so wonderful about Our Father's love. It says when we go to Him, and say we are sorry for what we have done wrong, He will forgive us and remember it no more.

Don't let anyone or anything throw your past errors in your face. That was yesterday. Today is a new day!  Move forward and don't look back!

Have a wonderful day!
