Crying Out!

Whilst a bed, 

I was led,

To read the following about Yom Kippur,

And reflect on Christ's  deed.

Indeed.

Scripture: No greater love has a man than this that he lay down his life for his brother.

Let's all sing!

Maybe we're ragged and funny!

But we'll travel along!

Singing God's songs!

With God by our side!

Okay, 

You say - 

You have nowhere to stay, 

You've got no money, you've got no home. 

You're out and about on your own.

But hey! 

As long as you're alive for one more day!

There must be some way,

 You too can get God's word out today!

I heard an elder share this tale of ...

Woah!

A quarter of a century without drinking water!!

This problem just must go!

So-

I’m sending out

This shout out,

To

Who?

To You who listened to this show,

To show you care about this tail of water,

That’s a human right for all God’s sons and daughters,

Stop saying the government aughter!

Get off your duff !

Help solve the problem of unsafe drinking water!

Enough is enough!

Folks pitch in all the time I know,

To help with far less dire woes,

So –

Stop your bitchin’ in your kitchen,

Surely you have at least a quarter you can pitch in,

Help set up a government grant,

For water distillation plants,

All across the native lands,

For all those bands,

From whom you stole these native lands!

If you dare,

To show you care,

See the fundraiser we’re setting up,

To put clean water in these First People’s cups!

On helping fix this situation

Please write, and do it tonight!

What is Unmerited Favor?

Unmerited favour given daily by God brings hope into our weary lives. Unmerited favours are blessings we truly don't deserve, but God provides them out of His Grace and Agape Love for us, because he sees our need. This morning this poem came into my heart.
