Note: I originally began writing this post back in 2021. While my personal journey and vocabulary have shifted since then as a Messianic believer, the core message of listening to Our Father's's warnings remains timeless. I wanted to share this completed piece with you today just as it was originally laid on my heart.

Jesus Take the Wheel!

When people invite Christ to live in their hearts, they frequently start hearing the urgings of God more clearly. It is extremely important to pay attention to the urgings of the Holy Spirit, as Kevin Sorbo discovered to his sorrow. It is also reassuring to know that even when we make the mistake of disregarding warnings, God can take our mess and turn it into a message.

This post features Biblical examples of people who did not listen to God's warnings, an excellent teaching on how to hear God more clearly, plus an interview where actor Kevin Sorbo shares his story of healing after disregarding a warning, and the song in my heart today — Jesus Take the Wheel.

Forgiveness - Essential, Vital and Possible

Unforgiveness can prevent us from living full joyful lives. Some people say that harbouring unforgiveness is like taking poison and hoping the other person will die. 

The Mayo Clinic lists the following as the benefits of forgiving others:  

• Less anxiety, stress and hostility. 
• Fewer symptoms of depression. 
• Lower blood pressure. 
• A stronger immune system. 
• Improved heart health. 
• Improved self-esteem.

This post has a forgiveness meditation I have found helpful as well as stories of  people who managed, with Our Creator's help to forgive very difficult things.

I know I'm not the only one to have received horrible life expectancy predictions from doctors and gone on to live years past my expiration date. 

 Look at it this way - If you had an expensive vehicle and some random mechanic told you it needed to be scrapped - you'd be going over your manufacturer's warranty.

Do You Need Christ To Transform You Too?

Are you thinking- " Hey, if Christ can restore Giuseppe Barbaro's life, then maybe, just maybe, He can restore my life too? There is no maybe about it. Christ can restore you too. 

Just stop and talk to God - the great Creator , Master of the Universe - He created you and He can make you totally new. 

Not sure what to say? Just tell Him what is in your heart. Tell Him you need a new start. Say you're sorry for the mess you've made doing things your way, and ask him to please give you a new start by sending His Son  to live in your heart. Tell Him - "I need Jesus to take the wheel."
