Smile Though Your Heart is Aching - Honouring Alex Trebek

Alex Trebek Brought Smiles Many Ways

Alex Trebek Sudbury Ontario Canadian Jeopardy host brought smiles not only to millions through his dry humour but also as a long-time supporter of many very worthwhile causes. One charity Alex supported in several ways was Smile Train, What is Smile Train?  Early this morning, I was led to discover Smile Train and an easy way to support this worthy cause that was so near and dear to Alex Trebek.

Why Support Smile Train?

Lots of people are expressing their sense of loss over the death of Alex Trebek. While people will tithe their time in expressing regret over his passing, it seems to me, that it would be a much greater show of respect for Alex Trebek, to take a few minutes to support a cause that is near and dear to his heart - Smile Train.
Alex Trebek said this about his support for Smile Train, an organization that brings Smiles and so much more to children born with Cleft Palates :
“I really appreciate the tremendous impact this surgery can have. It’s not often you get the opportunity to help someone so much… for so little money.” – Alex Trebek

No Money Ways to Support Smile Train

Even if you're cash strapped like me, there are several different ways you can pay tribute to the memory of Alex Trebek for bringing us so many smiles over the years and support Smile Train.:

  1. Prayer. I have absolutely no doubts in my mind at all that prayer changes things.
  2. Share. Share this post or other information about Smile Train with other people. All it takes is a second to click and share.
  3. Care. Show you care by donating a few of those Swag Bucks you get for free.

Have a Blessed Day!
