On this lovely website it was easy to find the recommended readings for all of 2023 including the reading for Shavuot  1 and Shavuot 2 which falls on May 26 and May 27 2023.

Jewish Pentecost -Shavuot Traditions

Often people ask themselves WWJD?  What Would Jesus Do? Well,  Jesus/ Yeshua was born a Jew and came to save the lost sheep of Israel. Jesus lived His whole life a Jew, so He might have taken part in some of these Jewish Shavuot/Pentecost traditions that you can find on Chabad.org.

  • Eating lots of dairy
  • Decorating your home with greenery before Shavu"ot
  • Reading the Booj of Ruth
  • Staying up all night on the first night of Shavu'ot studying the Torah
