Today I was led to an ancient copy of a book of Psalms and in particular to the following passage:
Psalme XXIX  1629

Give to the Lord, ye potentates, ye rulers of the world,
Give ye all praise, honour, and strength unto the living Lord.
Give glory to His holy name, and honour Him alone:
Worship him in majestie within his holy throne!

The preamble to Psalm 29 reads:

David exhorteth princes, who for the most part think there is no God, at the least to fear him, for the thunders and the tempests; for fear whereof all creatures tremble; And albeit in threatneth sinners, yet it mozeth his to praise his name.
