Lives of Faith Spotlight - Rabbi Felix Halpern

Rabbi Felix Halpern A Changed Life!

Have you heard about Rabbi Halpern's unusual life? I discovered Rabbi Felix Halpern through an interview he did on Sid Roth's It's Supernatural. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to cast all your burdens on Yeshua and live fully relying on G-d? Rabbi Halpern's life reminds me of the rich young man who asked Jesus what he needed to do to be saved. This post has background information I gleaned from the internet on the unusual life of this prolific author, as well as the video I was led to see on It's Supernatural with Sid Roth.
Scripture:
  • Matthew 19:21 - Yeshua told him"If you want to be complete  Go. Sell all you have. Give to the poor and you will have treasures in heaven and follow me.

Rabbi Felix Halpern - From Earthly Riches to Heavenly Riches

Felix Halpern's paternal grandfather was a Rabbi in Germany with his own synagogue and his maternal Grandparents were instrumental in hiding many Jews from the Nazis in the Netherlands as part of the Resistance. It was while in hiding with other Jews that Felix's father came to know Yeshua as his Messiah. Felix was born in 1952 in the Netherlands and his family immigrated to the United States when he was still quite young.
When he grew up, Felix established a lucrative career in the precious metals and diamond industries in the International Diamond Center of New York City. For nearly two decades he lived immersed in the Orthodox and Hassidic Jewish communities.
Suddenly Felix's priorities changed. He went from dealing in the treasures of earth to laying up treasures in heaven! Felix went into full-time ministry in obedience to the Lord’s call for restoration. Immediately Felix resigned his position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a multimillion-dollar international company, and embarked upon a life of faith and fully relying on Our Heavenly Father for provision. Wow! What a change! Do you wonder what could cause such a change?
Are you curious to find out more about Rabbi Felix Halpern?
You might want to listen to this interview he did with Sid Roth.

So how is his life going fully relying on G-d?
With over a decade of God’s sufficiency and provision, his life testifies to the wonderful faithfulness of God, as well as the Lord’s restoration of his Jewish heritage that characterizes his life and family today. Felix Halpern ministers internationally with a message of restoration between Jew and Gentile and a strong burden to bring the Father’s Love to the nations while ministering on restoring the Jewish roots of New Covenant faith with a strong emphasis on the election of Israel. Over the last decade, he pioneered the efforts to establish the first National Jewish Fellowship of the Assemblies of God and has served the first four years as its President. He has also served as a General Presbyter for the Assemblies of God, on the AG Board of Ethnicity, and also on the board of Lost Lamb Evangelistic Association. In 2014, he established the first Resource Office for Jewish Ministry within the Assemblies of God in the Greater New York and New Jersey Metropolitan region. Felix Halpern serves as a nationally appointed missionary to the Jewish people. For twenty years, he and his wife Bonnie served as Senior leaders of a Messianic Congregation that they founded, Beth Chofesh (House of Freedom). '
