"Finding Strength in the Storm

Life has a way of catching us off guard. One moment the sun is shining, and the next, we're caught in a torrential downpour—an unexpected job loss, relational tension, a troubling medical report. The disciples experienced this firsthand when Jesus sent them across the Sea of Galilee, straight into a violent storm.

Here's what's remarkable: Jesus made them get into the boat (Matthew 14:22). He knew the storm was coming. This wasn't punishment—it was preparation. God sometimes allows storms not to correct our character, but to perfect our faith and reveal Himself in ways we've never seen before."

Reflection:

You know, I never quite thought of that before - Yeshua knew the storm was coming. He made sure the disciples got into that boat by themselves right in time for them to be caught in that storm.

When we look back at storms we have survived through the Grace of Creator we can see how He has strengthened our faith in Him and perhaps given us the opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills that can help us and others going through storms too.

If you are new to experiencing setbacks or adversities - stay strong. It is important to learn to roll with the flow. Storms do not last - they will pass.
