Joy Radio started twenty years ago in Oakville, Ontario Canada. Run on a business model, rather than donations, Joy Radio 1250 has gained a large audience by offering family-friendly content that parents could tune into without wondering if their children might be exposed to lyrics or topics not suitable for young ears. Joy Radio now reaches the third-largest radio audience in North America.
