Felon Finds Faith! James Loy: From Snowing Men to Helping Men!

Cocaine Addict Loses Everything Finds New Life!

Scripture: James5:1-4
Riches equals happiness? James Loy can tell you that's not true.  James 5 verses 1-4. explains that too.
After losing both his parents at a young age, James Loy was angry with God. He put his all into seeking what society said would bring him happiness.  The higher he tried climbing the ladder to wealth the emptier it seemed. It wasn't until it all crashed that he found true fulfillment through the love of the God he had rejected so many years before.

James: From 47 Felonies to Freedom

Ealy in life James Loy lost both his parents to cancer. He was filled with anger and bitterness toward God and intentionally turned away to pursue worldly success and pleasures. Two houses, multiple cars, and a fat bank account didn’t bring him happiness. One addiction soon led to another. Binge drinking led to pot, then pills, and finally cocaine.
Cocaine became his master. Over the next two decades, James built himself a rap sheet with 47 felonies and multiple misdemeanours. Well over a million dollars. went down the drain.
After surviving a stabbing and his car flipping over, James was arrested in 2004. He had lost everything. Once out of jail, the only place that would help him was John 3:16 Ministries.

The story of James Loy's road to redemption that brought him from furious felon to helping other addicts start a new life at Renewal Ranch in Housten, Arkansas, is just one of several inspiring stories you will find in  Colors of Salvation by Brad Duncan
Today James leads the Renewal Ranch, a recovery facility treating men at no charge to them. Over 300 men have found freedom there. James says it’s a place where men can discover an abundant, victorious life is available to all who seek it. The Recovery Ranch’s mantra is “Restoring Broken Lives Through Christ.” James can tell others about this restoration because he’s experienced it himself firsthand.
