Discovering Theopedia!

Do You KnowTheopedia?

Many know Wikipedia, but do you know Theopedia? No? Good! I'm glad I'm not the only one just discovering the Theopedia. This post has information about my discovery of  Theopedia and how people can take part in its creation and editing. In other words, "I wonder, wonder, wonder, who-o-o? Who wrote this book of God?"

What is Theopedia?

Theopedia, like Wikipedia is an online group editable encyclopedia of Biblical knowledge. According to the about section, it is an evangelical Christian online editable encyclopedia that can be edited by people who attest that they believe in the basic statement of faith posted on the Theopedia website.

Why do We Need Theopedia?

While some may argue that Wikipedia can be used instead of Theopedia, but as a volunteer editor on Wikipedia for many years, I have seen the frustration and confusion that can erupt when just any body is allowed to have free reign in editing an online encyclopedia.

Who Started Theopedia?

The Theopedia website does not say who started Theopedia, but by chance, or as some may say Godwink, I hit a 404 page on Theopedia, and I was very surprised to discover it landed on a page outside Theopedia. Where did the 404 redirect take me?
