Adult? Mature? Grownup!

Why Grownup?

Have you noticed that the word "adult" has grown to mean a lot of things that are not adult behaviours at all? When people talk about adult entertainment, these days, they certainly are not referring to documentaries on parenting. This must be very confusing for people learning English. So how do you convey the correct meaning about your products and services if they are part of truly mature behaviour? 
Even the word "mature" has taken on a dubious quality.
