Ranked as one of the top 100 metal guitarists in the world, Brian Phillip Welch aka Head, initially wanted to play drums, but his father persuaded him to play guitar pointing out that he would have to drag the drum kit everywhere. How Brian fell down the rabbit hole of addiction, and suicidal thoughts then became a born-again Christian is part of the story in his first book. How he came back to playing with KoRn is part of his second book.
