Why Subscribe to Free Christian Magazines?
A few weeks ago at our local food bank, I was led to stop and browse the free books being offered and was taken aback to see several brand new slim volumes of books with titles like "How My Love of Jesus Led Me to Islam".
It was put in my heart to take a couple of these Muslim Evangelical books as my two free books that I was allotted. At least that would be two fewer books leading people down a false path.
It bothered me that there were no similar Christian books available that might be able to reach people in this impoverished community.
I prayed for Our Father to show me what to do. If I had money I would love to ensure that there would be free books on that bookshelf that could point people to Our Saviour in a variety of languages.
Sadly, I did not have the funds to place books on the shelf. It then came into my heart "Use what you have", so last week I took some of the free Christian magazines I had received and placed them on the bookshelves.
If you, like me, are also short on funds, but praying for a way to help bring more people to know and love Our Saviour, you might also want to subscribe to a few of these free Christian Magazines and distribute them in your community.
If, on the other hand, you have a few dollars you might consider contributing to some of these free Christian magazines that help bolster the faith of people going through financially tough times.

When my children were growing up, we frequently tuned the radio to the "Adventures in Odyssey" broadcast from Focus on the Family. However, I never knew they offered a free magazine!

Daily Bread Ministries Free Mini Magazines

Many people are familiar with the free Daily Bread Devotionals that are printed and mailed out four times a year. However, I was delighted a few years ago to discover that you can also order free mini magazines on a variety of topics in English and French.
It can be a bit tricky to find these free resources on the OuDailyBread.ca website, so you might want to use this link to free Our Daily Bread resources.
Note: When you are placing your online order for free materials it looks like you will be expected to pay shipping for the free booklets, but don't worry- the free booklets are shipped for free.
Turning Point Magazine
Turning Point Magazine is an outreach of Turning Point Ministries headed by Dr. David Jeremiah.
These magazines are packed full of interesting information, but I was dismayed that the print was too small for me to read.
