Elul - How Does This Month Affect You?
All of my life, well ever since I can remember, I felt like September was the beginning of the New Year.The month before September- especially the last two weeks, I would be filled with an excited anticipation of what was to come.
Guess what - Septembert is the beginning of the New Year!
This post has some interesting resources about Elul - the Hebrew month right before the beginning of the New Year, tThese resources were were put across my path roaming around the Internet. You might find some of these resources interesting too. The YouTube I included in this post has a deep dive into the meaning of the Hebrew numbers making up the number of the coming year. From what the Eric Burton sys in the YouTube below, it certainly sounds like Our Saviour is coming for His Bride VERY soon!

The first resource that got me excited about Elul was a great email I received from Dr. David Herzog. I have searched all through his online platforms and cannot see where he has posted this anywhere online. so I am going to share Dr. Herzog's email here.
Why the Next Big Epic Shift Will Occurr in September

September during Rosh Hashanah is when the next huge seasonal portal opens up.
During this season is when the books of heaven and the books of Destiny are opened over people, ministries, and nations!
Daniel 7:10, “A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before Him. Thousands upon thousands attended Him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. THE COURT WAS SEATED, AND THE BOOKS WERE OPENED.”
That’s why many even fast and pray and make amends and seek the Lord like never before worldwide and especially in Israel right up to Yom Kippur as there is a sense of divine timing and destiny connected with this feast.
It’s also the “Head of the Year” as new assignments, promotions, and blessings are released for the new year for those aligned properly as the Supreme Court of Heaven meets to determine our destinies for the next 12 months.
This September will be the most important life-altering season to align with Heaven and hear the fresh prophetic word for your life, America, Israel and the nations.
How do you access this? The Bible instructs us to gather during this time and hear the word of the Lord and give him our best time, worship, and offering. Then God promises open heavens, rain on our seeds and prayers, and favour, protection and divine destiny.
We know great shakings occur during this time as well as great harvest. Which side will we be on? The key is knowing in advance what God is about to do so you can position yourself for harvest instead of being taken by surprise by the shakings.
Come and hear what the prophets are saying in September so that you will be ready and aligned for the great harvest coming from the shakings meant for the world.
Rosh Hashanah or “Head of the Year” is when God does new things on the earth and in the church. During this fall season is when the books of heaven are open over your life and things are decided for the next 12 months over your life. That’s why its super key to be gathering and seeking God during this time so that everything in your life is aligned with heaven so that the fullness of what God intended for your life and destiny is fully realized in the year ahead and the enemy’s delays in the court of heaven are overruled.
During these open heaven glory feasts God promises special blessings that come when we honor the Lord and obey Him in coming together during this kairos time to hear what the apostles and prophets are saying to you and the church. We are so very excited to have brand new prophetic voices in our upcoming major conference!
September is the timing when major events occur and change is in the air.
It's the season of New Beginnings on God's calendar where all things from the past year are taken into account. Yom Kippur also occurs in September. It's the time to reflect on the past 12 months to see where we are headed and make the necessary changes to stay on course for the destiny of our lives, family, and nation. This September will be unlike any other as some many kairos events are all converging all at the same time. Each season carries with it a potential greater glory and greater blessing and harvest.
This time we will be meeting during the open heavens timing of Rosh Hashanah where God promises a special blessing from heaven. You never want to miss these divine dates on God's calendar. They make the difference between breaking through into a new victory in this season or going around the same mountain for another season.
We have never been so excited about these meetings as what occurs in these meetings will ignite a huge harvest of souls and awakening the likes that we have never seen before in our lifetime!
September is the timing when major events occur! It's the season where new things occur and new paradigm shifts happen on many levels. Often major world events affecting you and me occur in this season. There is also a new level of the Glory of God released during this time.
Rosh Hashanah is one of those divine seasons that you just can't miss out on. It's a "make or break" season. Because it the head of the year on God's calendar how you enter the year and Rosh Hashanah will determine how we finish the year. It’s the season of the Greater Glory!
I don't know about you but I definitely don't want to miss out on what God is doing especially this year in America as we are on the cusp of the greatest Awakening in our lifetime!
When we gather together on purpose during this time God promises to bless us like crazy and accelerate our destiny just by showing up to his appointment gathering at Rosh Hashanah!
This September during Rosh Hashanah I truly believe that something will be unleashed that we have never experienced before. This is called Convergence! When everything lines up and the "Suddenlies" of God take place! It is important to realize that during these “Kairos” (opportune moment, appointed day, due season) times, HUGE things occur in the heavenly realms and situations are shifted into proper alignment and position. So, it is important that we get in sync on Earth with what is happening in Heaven in order to receive the download of information God is wanting to pour out on us during these special times of year
“Knowing what God is about to do and positioning yourself for it is the key to riding the wave of God's move on the earth with great blessing and favor.”

Dr. Herzog sends out excellent newsletters like the one above, that you can fully read offline - something I truly appreciate, as I am often offline from time to time. You can sign up for emails from his ministry - The Glory Zone here. His ministry is planning a big event down in Arizona to celebrate the New Year, and If Our Father wills I will be there - however thankfully if I cannot be there in person, I am praying I will be able to attend online. Dr. Herzog and his wife, Stephanie, have been supernaturally transported in their car from time to time (aka translated) - this just goes to show that if Our Creator needs you somewhere at a certain time- He will get you there. The next resource I really enjoyed reading was a post shared by Rabbi David Stone Junior on his Facebook timeline. The post created by Gloria Moreno features a man blowing a Shofar. It gives an excellent explanation of the month of Elul being a month of repentance and soul searching. You can read Gloria's full Facebook post about Elul here.
However, the resource that lit a fire under me and got me really excited about writing this post- so I guess you might say it influenced me the most, is this YouTube where Eric Burton explains the importance of getting your heart set right with Our Creator and the importance of this coming year.
When I listened in to what he had to say about" the King is in the field", "the door being opened to habitation" and then finally the connection between this coming year and the verse from Song of Songs - "I am My Beloved's and He is mine". Wow! It sure sounds to me like Our Saviour is coming for His bride!
