A few years ago, I had the opportunity to meet a wonderful insightful speaker who shared that the secret to sales is not to sell but to serve. John Rich, author, business coach and professional speaker shared many selling secrets from his book at a Toastmasters Meeting that I was privileged to attend in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada. 

John got his start in sales selling chocolate bars in school as a fundraiser. He told the heart-warming story of how he won a sales award for selling the most chocolate bars despite his teacher's expectations. How? By helping others!
