There are people through history who have vanished. However, it is unfortunate that the author has not checked all his facts before including stories such as the incident where a regiment of British soldiers supposedly disappeared right in front of several hundred people.
How could a whole battalion of 1,000 soldiers vanish while people watched them march up a hill?
First Norfolk British Regiment Vanishes!
According to the author, during the Battle of Gallipoli, the First Norfolk British regiment numbered about 1,000 men. They were ordered to march up Hill 60. The Turks were waiting on the other side. In full view of hundreds of people, the men marched up the hill and entered a thick cloud, but never reappeared. With a very quick internet search, it was quite simple to find the true and sad story about what happened at the Battle of Gallipoli.
With such poor fact-checking it makes one wonder if all the books in this series are full of claptrap and if PsyCan Clinical Resources can be trusted at all.
Verdict?
This book and the rest of the series needs a serious overhaul and should not be presented to young impressionable students.
That's my 2 cents worth.
