There are many examples of people receiving witty invention ideas through visions and dreams. Here's a very interesting new innovation that I just heard about - Colour-changing inks that detect changes in the chemicals around you and even in your sweat!
Tufts University has published a fascinating video about how colour-changing inks can tell people information about changes in their environment and even their body chemistry.
