Wanting Better Decision Making Skills?

Do You Sometimes Wish You Could Make Better Decisions?

Hindsight, they say is 20/20. One thing I take comfort in when I look at some of my past bad decisions is that all things work for good for those who love the Lord
This post has information on a newly published Christian decision-making guide along with a few random thoughts of mine on decision-making.

Biblical Decision-Making Methods

Most people wish for the ability to make better decisions. In the Bible, we can see a couple of ways that people asked God to help them with their decision-making.
Sometimes, as in the choosing of the apostle to replace Judas Iscariot, prayers would be said before drawing straws. At other times, people set if-then tests before God. Two examples of this if-then decision-making method are seen in the story of Gideon, and the choosing of a bride for Isaac.
We have to be very wary and double or triple-check what we believe we are being called to do. When Gideon felt he was being called to go to war against pressing forces, he set out a test by laying a fleece on the grass and praying that if this was something God wanted him to do the fleece would be wet and the ground dry the next day. Then just to be extra certain, he prayed for the opposite the next day.
The servant sent to find a bride for Isaac, set an if-then test before God too. He prayed -  "God of my master,"  and set out that the correct woman would offer to water the camels if she were asked to give him a drink of water.
It is important to seek God's face in all things, for sometimes, what may appear to be a small decision, could have long-ranging repercussions.
Okay, you've probably had enough of my rambling thoughts, now here's what you're really here to see.
