Discovering Blue Letter Bible Free Online Courses
Early this morning, I was led to see there are free online Bible Study Courses offered on the Blue Letter Bible website. This is kind of amazing because each time I looked at the Bible apps on my phone I kept feeling the same prompt inside me"Study Bible -Free". While I would love to be able to go back to school full time and study the Bible - perhaps even get my doctorate, these courses might be a great way to get started in Bible study - a kind of a" getting my toes wet." Free Bible study certainly fits my budget!
Here is a bit of information about the Free Bible Study Courses from the Blue Letter Bible website:
A Complete Free Course of Study on Christian Belief & Practice -BLBi!
Take courses in major areas of Christian belief and practice. Each course is designed to be used for either self-study, home Bible study, or for the classroom. It is their goal to make BLBi the most comprehensive course of study possible.
Students may take individual courses or opt to follow a recommended course of study, called course programs. Individual courses and course programs are offered at no cost to the student. They currently offer two course programs and electives.:
- Foundations of the Christian Faith
- Foundations of Biblical Studies
What does CEU stand for? Good question!
Upon completing a course program, students are eligible to receive a course program Certificate of Completion, which lists all courses completed in the program as well as Continuing Education Units (CEU) earned. Students can track progress in their Student Dashboard.
Why not mosey on over and check it out for yourself at Blue Letter Bible -Free Online Bible Studies.
