Ben Fuller From Farm to Fame And the Hellbent Rollercoaster In-between

Ben Fuller has always loved singing and playing music, but he grew up having a very hard life on a farm in Southern Vermont. Now most people when they think of farming, might assume that Ben grew up in a family that loved the L-rd, but- no. All Ben knew of Our Saviour was his name - and he only knew to use it as a swear word in his mouth.
At the age of 16, Ben started turning to drugs and alcohol to try to find some happiness.
Ben also battled depression and even attempted suicide. He didn't see himself as an addict though. He went to college for landscaping and after graduating worked hard as a Stone Mason He saw himself as an upstanding citizen.
"It looked like I had it all together on the outside, but on the inside, I was a mess," Ben shared.
Gradually Ben would need to drink to be able to fall asleep.
Ben's friends and family encouraged him to go to Nashville and see if he could make it in the Country Music world.
He got a job playing at a bar on Broadway and spiralled even further out of control.

In the fall of 2019, a family back in Vermont called him up and invited him for dinner. During after dinner conversation they invited him to church.
When Ben walked through the church doors the next day - it hugely hit him.
Ben says- "God used the music to pull me into that place."
Ben adds, "I'll never forget seeing everyone's hands in the air- that complete feeling of wholeness. the feeling! I had never felt that high or just purposeful."
Ben adds, "I got mad at God. I said, "Okay Mr. Powerful- take away all these things. Take away the addiction. Take away the drinking and the swearing. And He did!"

Ben just celebrated 4 years of sobriety. He pours his testimony into his songs like "Who am I?"

Ben is touring the USA and is praying to be able to tour Canada soon.
