The prescribed readings for this week's Shabbat posted by Messianic Rabbi David Stone Jr. on Facebook are:

• Torah- Exodus 25:1-27:19 
• Haftarah- 1Kings 5:26-6:13 
• New Covenant- 2 Corinthians 9:1-15 and Romans 13

The name of the Torah portion is "Terumah" which means 'Offering".

Rabbi David Stone Jr. welcomes people to join their congregation in person or online on Shabbat/Saturday 02/17/24 10:30-10:55 AM for fellowship and set up time and 11 AM to 12:30 PM for the teaching. 

Their Congregation meets at Christian Fellowship Church 3950 Pointe Parkway, Beaumont Texas 77706.  Park near the main office entrance in the front of the building.  They are in Classroom #2 just past the restrooms.

Importance of Persistent Prayer

What is your prayer request? Take it to the Lord in prayer AND share your prayer request EVERYWHERE! Here is a list of some of the prayer lines that I have called that you may find helpful too. Prayer Requests

Jesus said we are to be like that insistent friend who comes knocking at your door at midnight or the woman who continually petitions the judge. Keep praying! Keep persisting! Do not stop petitioning God. Keep knocking on the door!

Standing in the Need of Prayer

Some of you know what I have been through in my life and how God has pulled me through some incredibly tough times. The need to start Hotel Dieu for Women as a project of Refurbished Homes by Refurbished People has become more and more evident to me as I have travelled sick and homeless across the Province of Ontario for the past two years after losing my job and home in the same day due to Covid . Two years ago a doctor at Moose Factory Hospital told me I had three days to live, but I am still alive.

However, I have steadily grown weaker and weaker. My heart rate has been running below 40 off and on for the last 3 weeks. I am now very weak and ill. The battle being waged in my mind wars between the song "The Dream Never Dies Just the Dreamer" and  "The Voice of Truth" by Casting Crowns.

If you are facing a tough battle perhaps this song by Casting Crowns will give you some strength for your battle too.
